Product Description
GYFTY optical cable consists of single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers housed in high-modulus PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) loose tubes filled with water-blocking compound. The core of the cable core is a non-metallic central strength member, which may be extruded with a polyethylene (PE) layer for certain fiber counts. The loose tubes (together with filler ropes) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact circular core, with all interstices filled with water-blocking materials. A polyethylene outer sheath is extruded over the cable core to finish the cable.
