Outdoor Loose Tube Stranded Steel Tape Armored Cable (GYTS)
•The excess fiber length inside loose tubes and the stranding pitch are rationally designed and precisely controlled to achieve optimal fiber slack, providing excellent tensile strain performance and temperature stability.
•The loose tube material features good thermal performance, and is filled with moisture-resistant fiber compound to ensure long-term stable optical transmission performance.
•The central strength member adopts phosphated round steel wire with high Young’s modulus.
•All gaps inside loose tubes and the cable core are fully filled with moisture-blocking grease and compounds to achieve moisture resistance and prevent longitudinal water penetration.
•Longitudinally wrapped double-sided coated corrugated steel tape tightly bonded with the PE sheath, ensuring radial moisture resistance and improving crush resistance.
•Small outer diameter, light weight, compact structure and superior bending performance.

Product Description
GYTS optical cable consists of single-mode or multi-mode optical fibers housed in high-modulus PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) loose tubes filled with water-blocking compound. The core of the cable core is a central metal strength member, which may be covered with an extruded polyethylene (PE) layer for certain fiber counts. The loose tubes (together with filler ropes) are stranded around the central strength member to form a compact circular core, with all interstices filled with water-blocking materials. The core is longitudinally wrapped with double-sided chrome-plated plastic-coated steel tape, then finished with a polyethylene outer sheath.
